If you know Ranger Dave Montgomery, you already know what you'll get with Full Radio Access. If you don't, here's what you can expect.

Dave Montgomery is a workhorse on the St. Louis music scene. He's logged thousands of hours at countless gigs on stages throughout the area. For years, he fronted The Strange Rangers, the hottest bluegrass band in these parts, and Liquid Prairie, a country outfit whose path across the musical landscape is as fluid as its name suggests. As a sideman, he's helped other musicians sound better than they would without him; as a solo artist, he's honed his skills anchoring the eclectic open mics at the too-hip-to-be-true Venice Cafe.

On Full Radio Access, Dave does it all himself. A picker of the first order, Dave's guitar and mandolin work is always tasteful and refined, never just "flashy for flashiness' sake." As a vocalist, he sings from a place deep down in his country heart, delivering soulful vocals that put across the point of the song, making certain you hear and feel what it's about. And here, it's all about the songs and the tunes. Some are old and familiar; others, new and welcome. In them, you'll hear the years Dave has spent, guitar in hand, singing his heart out for people, trying to lift their spirits, to make them laugh, to touch them with a song. It's what he does. He's Ranger Dave.
