Bill Barttelbort is the newest member of the Chris Talley Trio, having joined the group full time in 2006. Bill plays lead and rhythm guitar, in addition to singing lead and harmony vocals. His music is well-known in his hometown of Mascoutah, Illinois, where he has played with several other bands including The Light Stepping Gang and Buckeye Creek. Bill is a well-rounded musician with a musical background that includes an Illinois State Flatpicking Championship and playing the french horn.
